Fatima Prayers

On May 13, 1917, the blessed Virgin Mary appeared to the three shepherds at the Cova da Iria in Fatima, Portugal. She identified herself as “Our Lady of the Rosary”. Mary urged the three children, Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco, to pray the holy rosary every day for peace in the world and to make sacrifices for the conversion of sinners.

The children received many messages from our Our Lady. They were taught the following simple prayers, yet profound and contemplative. We encourage you to incorporate these prayers into your daily spiritual life.

The Pardon Prayer

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust, and I love thee! I beg pardon for those who
do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love thee.

The Angel’s Prayer or Act of Reparation to the Most Holy Trinity

O most Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—I adore thee profoundly.
I offer thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ—
present in all the tabernacles of the world—in reparation for the outrages,
sacrileges, and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits
of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the
conversion of poor sinners.

The Eucharistic Prayer

Most Holy Trinity, I adore You! My God, my God, I love You in the Most
Blessed Sacrament.

The Sacrifice Prayer

O my Jesus, it is for love of You, in reparation for the offenses committed
against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the conversion of poor sinners.

The Decade Prayer

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls into
Heaven, especially those who are in most need of thy mercy.
