Are you going through an enormous storm in life?

Today, we decided to post amazing bible verses that will give you strength and courage when hard times hit you.

Amid turbulent times, remember we have an all-powerful God who is our refuge and strength. Let us place our confidence and fixed our eyes on Jesus Christ, our Savior, who suffered and died for us.

The following verses will inspire us to rely on God, that His power can sustain us through our storms.

God is our strength

PSALM 46:1-3 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling.”

HABAKKUK 3:19 “The LORD, the Lord, is my strength. He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and enables me to go in high places.”

PSALM 73:26 “My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

NEHEMIAH 8:10 “Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

God gives power to the weak and powerless

ISAIAH 40:29 “He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.”

ISAIAH 12:2 “God is my savior; I will trust him and not be afraid. The Lord gives me power and strength; he is my savior.” (GNT)

2 CORINTHIANS 12:9-10 “He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly, therefore, I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Be strong and courageous

God has commanded us to be strong and courageous for He promised to be with us and never forsake us.

JOSHUA 1:9Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

DEUTERONOMY 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for the LORD your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.”

In this world, trials and troubles are inevitable. But friend, regardless of what kind and how mighty the storms in your life, our God is greater than any storm. Things that may be impossible with us are possible with God.

These bible verses remind us that amid tough times in life, we have to trust that our Lord will give us the strength to endure and get through our storms. We have a God who loves and cares for us.
